On July 26th I contacted J.A. Jance to thank her for her once-in-a-lifetime signature square and autographed copy of her "HOT" new release QUEEN OF THE NIGHT, and she's replies..."Glad they arrived safely.  Will be doing a signing in Salt Lake later this week." Oh my goodness! You have got to be kidding me!!! I get to meet J.A. Jance in person? Of course I reply calmly..."Where, when, how, why, what, who...I have to come!!!" And she promptly provided me with the contact information for the Whitmore Library. I promptly dropped all plans for weekend and ran with my mother-in-law, Donna (you know, the one that got me into this mess in the first place!) and head for Salt Lake City to meet the 5th author that has signed Jo's Library Quilt!!!

And the writer of thriller murders is a comedian? What a GREAT speaker and singer too! JAJ was holding this event in the Whitmore Library to show her SUPPORT OF LIBRARIES and she knows THEY NEED HELP!!! She would know...JAJ was a teacher & a librarian!!!

J.A. explained where her stories came from...the light sides & the dark sides in a DISCUSSION in lieu of a READING...since she said all of us in attendane already knew you to read! Cute story! It is wonderful hearing the authors being the storytellers. She could have gone on forever! TRULY A DELIGHTFUL, ENTERTAINING, STIRRING & INSPRING Event! And is closing...she sang to us! What an amazing lady! We wanted more! What an HONOR it was to meet J.A. Jance!
