"A gifted writer with an eye for telling detail." Chicago Tribune.
Eileen Goudge was the third author I contacted for Jo's Library Quilt many "moons" ago! What an inspiration she has been! She's throughout the website and she even signed two (2) signature squares (before I had a template and knew ANYTHING about quilting!) And her words are so dang good I grabbed a few here and there for my website! (Do you need to get permission to do that? Oops!)
Read Eileen's blog and a few more while you're there! And recipes...yes! SOMETHING WARM FROM THE OVEN: BAKING MEMORIES, MAKING MEMORIES: the author’s collection of family and fan favorites, with mouth-watering recipes for every occasion. Follow Eileen on Facebook, you'll see she LOVES to eat (but she doesn't look like it)!!!
And I'm thrilled to say after all these months, my mother-in-law Donna (who referred me to Eileen!) and I will be traveling to Seattle this week and we get to MEET EILEEN GOUDGE!!! Plus added to that excitement (if you possibly could), four (4) other female novelist will be at this event...an event FOR LIBRARIES...SEE...THEY ALL NEED HELP! As quoted by author Adriana Trigiani..."Jo, libraries are under siege right now, and your determination to have one in your town is inspiring, relevant and full of hope."
And our attendance will be helping another library...a library foundation! For details of the event, please visit A Benefit for Kitsap Regional Library Foundation.
