Jo's Library Quilt came to closure Friday, July 22nd. The dream...the adventure...the fundraiser has been an experience of a lifetime! As a dear friend and New York Times Bestselling Author told me (see I couldn't have said that 17 months ago!), it's not all about the money. Oh boy was she right! A recent scan of my computer e-mails & photos took me through the journey! YOUR time, YOUR words of encouragement, YOUR signatures, YOUR donations, YOUR books, YOUR help, YOUR assistance, YOUR ideas, YOUR friendship, YOUR e-mails. A recent one I adored...Your enthusiasm and passion for the Coalville Library is absolutely legendary in my book (no pun intended) and I so wish I could join you at Friday's Drawing gathering! As another new friend said...there will be lots of "tears & cheers" on July 22nd! Hope to see you there!

The story goes...our library was too little. Everyone kept saying we needed a bigger one. Nothing was being done! I read an inspiring book. I had a dream! I told an avid quilter. She picked a striking pattern. I wrote generous authors. Together with donated signatures & donated fabric it became a Work of Art!
